Joe Taylor is located in the heart of North Melbourne’s Errol Street with its relaxed atmosphere while just a short distance away from Melbourne CBD and Queen Victoria Market just around the corner. 7 Errol Street was home to the famous Tailor “Joe Taylor” in the 1920’s and our original window still breathes the spirit of the old days. The space itself is has an open and social front room with a cosy and more intimate seating in the back while our beautiful courtyard breaths fresh air on warm summer nights.

An impressive back bar with several hundred craft spirits, ever changing beers & wines from small and local producers alongside great cheese & charcuterie and creative small plates are the foundation of Joe Taylor, while everything is served with a smile.

Canapés on arrival and eclectic platters paired with individual crafted cocktails are just one option to start your event. Our experienced Team will guide you through our options to ensure to find the right offering for your guests.

Intimate gatherings, special celebrations or big group events can be realised in our dynamic space while natural wood, warm lighting and beautiful flower arrangements in a white-walled environment set the tone for a surely remembered dinner or cocktail party.
